Responsibilities

Requirements
A deep understanding of the technical aspects of DAMA and the ability to navigate the complexities of a large organization.
Strong stakeholder management skills to build consensus around data governance practices.
A commitment to promoting the importance of data governance through training and support, ensuring principles are understood and valued across the university.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data governance professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Strong project management skills, with experience in overseeing complex data governance projects from inception to completion.
Postgraduate qualifications in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications in data governance, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar, are highly desirable.
