As a Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced data science techniques to provide actionable insights that optimize student outcomes and support strategic initiatives across the university. Your ability to translate complex data into meaningful solutions will be vital in shaping educational strategies that positively impact students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
We are looking for an innovative thinker who can apply and adapt analytical techniques and technologies to meet evolving demands effectively. About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms, Predictive Analytics, Regression.
- Proficiency using languages such as SQL, Python and R and associated machine learning libraries.
- Experience with version control technologies such as GiT, GitHub, Mercurial, Subversion or similar.
- Experience providing visualizations of complex data.
- Experience in leveraging integrated data for development of business models and analytical applications aimed at improving business decision-making.
Qualifications
An undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline.
