Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with other teaching teams to develop effective open education practices and pedagogies learning.
Build communities that adopt open practices and lead promotion of open education program.
Develop networks and collaborate with university colleagues to determine an approach to extending those networks into more formal alliances.
Lead the development and/or adoption of new innovation in curriculum design within a course and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels / modes of delivery.
Integrate industry, clinical and/or research practice into design to improve student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
Design collaborative learning opportunities at the course level.
Support diverse learners by designing accessible and inclusive unit and course material and practices.
Foster a culture of collaboration and educational excellence.
Build teaching and learning capability and effective unit and course teaching teams related to discipline or pedagogy and support the professional development of other academics.
Conduct mentoring of colleagues to help improve their teaching practices.
Requirements
PhD in a relevant discipline and/or advanced qualifications and experience in the relevant discipline area
Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design and research supervision
Nationally recognised research reputation underpinned by publications in quality journals, and exhibitions where relevant to the discipline, or
Emerging reputation in the open education field, demonstrated through publications and/or funding.
Positive engagement with research, community, industry and government to enhance the national standing of the discipline.

Investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities to seek effective business solutions.
Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems.
Identify and lead business analysis techniques to identify business needs and change opportunities, gather, document and analyse requirements and implement solutions.
Ensure effective implementation of all Student Management System related projects in line with business requirements.

Requirements
A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experience working within a large scale and complex organisation.
Experience as a business analyst in an IT development environment or Higher Education.
Experience gathering, documenting and managing user requirements.
Knowledge of systems (Callista highly desirable), process and business improvement capabilities.
Experience designing effective solutions to complex business and technical problems.

Deliver a high standard of accurate, tailored, high quality course information to prospective students in response to walk-ins, phone, email, mail, online and live chat enquiries whilst adhering to current privacy legislation and current university policies.
