As the Analyst, Student Management Systems, you will play a crucial role in guiding the University community with expert advice on data within our Student Management System (SMS) and related applications. You’ll craft insightful ad-hoc reports, provide high quality support and training to SMS users, and manage a diverse range of responsibilities. This includes planning and prioritising work, identifying and overcoming barriers to achieve outcomes, and evaluating progress effectively. Extensive SQL programming skills are essential to effectively support these tasks.
Your role will involve promoting technical solutions to modernise work practices in alignment with the University’s strategic direction. This encompasses addressing user-specific workarounds, ensuring thorough testing, and escalating major issues to the Operational Support Coordinator. Additionally, you’ll continuously seek improvements by applying critical learnings from projects and initiatives across the University, ensuring that our systems and processes evolve to meet our goals.
