Responsibilities

Requirements
Completion of a Masters degree or higher qualification in Romance Languages with postgraduate studies in Spanish culture and/or literature.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Proven expertise in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (Levels A1-B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR).
Demonstrated ability to teach contemporary Spanish culture and literature courses in a tertiary setting.
Ability and willingness to lead the Spanish studies program within the department, focusing on curriculum development, student engagement, and administration.
Excellent communication skills and active participation in the Department’s culture of teaching and research.
Ability to work harmoniously and constructively with colleagues and key stakeholders.
