UOM 9 – $139,693 – $145,339 p.a. plus 17% super
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the testing, design, maintenance, and operation of Network Services.
Provide leadership and technical expertise to team members, clients, and University departments, particularly supporting project managers and teams during design, testing, and build phases.
Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers, service providers, system integrators, and business and technical teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
Industry certifications, such as Cisco or Palo Alto certification.
Experience in Network Automation (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Experience in managing VXLAN Spine-Leaf Data Centre environments.
Experience in managing and maintaining large scale Routing & Switching and MPLS infrastructure within complex environments.
Knowledge on Virtual Networking (e.g. VMware NSX-T), Linux and Layer 7 would be advantageous.
