Your Role:

As a Network Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the university’s Cisco network infrastructure. You’ll lead exciting projects, drive innovation, and collaborate with teams across the university to help shape the future of education.

What You’ll Do:

• Be involved in the design and implementation of state-of-the-art Cisco network solutions.


• Optimise network performance using Cisco's advanced monitoring and management tools.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and support university-wide initiatives.


• Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging Cisco technologies and trends.


• Be part of the on-call roster, ensuring our network remains resilient and secure.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) – highly desirable.


• Expertise in Cisco network architecture, routing, and switching (OSPF, BGP).


• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR routers, Nexus data centre switches, and wireless solutions.


• A passion for problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills – you’ll be working with a variety of stakeholders.


• A commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
