Responsibilities
Provide high-quality onsite clinical leadership of the FedCare clinic.
Contribute to the strategic planning of FedCare services ensuring continued growth and development.
Develop and implement strategies addressing and resolving external issues in postgraduate training in psychology.
Provide extensive technical knowledge and expertise to both individual and group supervision of provisional psychologists.
Lead clinic operations, including client intake and allocations using criterion and critical judgement to assess and allocate provisional psychologists to clinical rotations.
Create a positive clinic culture and supportive environment for both clinical services and training consistent with the Institute’s aims.
Requirements
General registration as a psychologist, clinical endorsement with AHPRA, and Board Approved supervisor status with PsyBA.
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and expertise.
Demonstrated experience working with and supervising cases across the lifespan.
Demonstrated experience supervising provisional and/or early career psychologists, including proven management of their progress and performance.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health services and referral pathways.
Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
