About the Role
The Manager, Partnership Development is responsible for identifying and processing business development opportunities and managing high priority projects and initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic priorities and objectives. The position will develop strong and sustainable networks with key industry leaders to support Federation University’s ambition to be Australia’s first and leading Co-operative University.
You will:
- Develop effective communication and working relationships with external and internal stakeholders to source, evaluate and drive new opportunities;
- Keep abreast of new initiatives and training needs;
- Act as a relationship lead on high-priority projects; and
- Work with industry to develop initiatives that lead to co-operative opportunities.
About You
Reporting to the Associate Director, Partnerships and Growth, you will possess the ability to maintain and foster collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your excellent project management skills are enhanced by highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines.
You will possess:
- Experience in identifying and analysing business opportunities;
- High level problem-solving skills, including the ability to implement innovative approaches; and
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to manage high-quality contracts and agreements;
