The ServiceNow Enterprise Service Management Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, development and ongoing evolution of the Enterprise Service Management platform (ServiceNow) to support the continuous improvement of service delivery and innovation.
Demonstrate personal leadership in their area of expertise and promote delivery on the IT Strategy in the context of the IT Service Charter.
Requirements
Tertiary (preferably post graduate) qualifications or progress towards post graduate qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in an appropriate discipline.
Demonstrated experience working within information technology services in large and complex organisations providing ServiceNow administration and development.
Strong collaboration and negotiation skills to liaise with various colleagues and teams across the University.
Sound practical knowledge of relevant best practice frameworks including Software Development Lifecycle and project management methodology.
Previous experience in ServiceNow workflow automation and configuration of discovery tools, APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules, JavaScript, AngularJSA, JSON, and Aax scripting in ServiceNow.

Responsibilities
Operate a range of complex instrumentation in the Advanced Materials Characterisation Facility (AMCF).
Schedule the usage of facility resources for laboratory operations and instrumentation use.
Assist in laboratory procedures, including inventory management.
Advise and assist users in specimen preparation for imaging and analysis.
Instruct and train users on the operation of various instruments and related preparation equipment.
Provide direction in the use of specialised characterisation techniques to both internal and external researchers.
Generate revenue through fee-for-service by providing sample analysis to internal researchers, research students, external researchers, and industry clients.
Ensure compliance with all WHS policies.
Assist in preparing risk assessments and standard operating procedures for the use of chemicals and AMCF equipment.
Requirements
Hold a degree in chemistry, biological, physical, or materials science.
Experience with materials characterisation instrumentation and post-processing software.
Familiarity with microscopy, microanalysis, and spectroscopy techniques such as XRD, microCT, FTIR, or Raman spectroscopy.
Ability to use initiative in solving technical problems and adapt procedures as required.
Demonstrated aptitude in using scientific software packages and ability to learn new systems.
Strong team player with the ability to liaise effectively with students and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities
Managing and optimising the purchasing, deployment, maintenance, utilisation, and disposal of IT assets within WSU.
Establishing, maintaining, and implementing IT Asset Management processes and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate inventory of IT assets.
Providing strategic planning for future IT asset purchasing.
Collaborating with various departments to understand their IT needs and align these with the organisation’s IT strategy and budget.
Maximising the value of IT investments and minimising risks associated with IT assets.
Managing IT assets at WSU and establishing the related configuration management process.
Coordinating configuration management with other CMDB users and analysts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, education, administration, technical, management, or finance, or equivalent experience in a large and complex organisation.
ITIL Certification is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in managing IT assets and Configuration Management Processes.
Experience conducting audits, analysing data, reconciling discrepancies, and developing and implementing processes and procedures for asset management.
Ability to design and create processes related to IT Asset and Configuration Management.
Strong understanding of software licensing agreements, including their terms, conditions, and potential consequences of non-compliance.
Experience with remote software deployment principles and their licensing implications is desirable.
Experience managing the financial lifecycle of IT assets, from invoice review and approval to resolving discrepancies and reconciling accounts.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
