- Remuneration Package: Academic Level D $202,792 to $222,734 p.a. (comprising Salary of $171,829 to $188,873 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership in the School’s programs and academic activities.
- Conduct and lead significant research.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their area of expertise.
- Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty.
- Build strong research teams and networks internally and externally.
- Commit to collegiality and teamwork, including leadership in service and governance.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the leadership and oversight of school planning, performance, and quality management.
- Take primary responsibility for the Learning and Teaching portfolio.
- Work closely with the Director of Academic Programs to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
- Be a key member of the School Executive and collaborate with the Dean on school leadership and management.
- Deputise for the Dean as needed, maintaining the smooth functioning of the School’s operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leadership and supervision of academic teams within a large and complex tertiary institution.
- Strong experience in governance roles relevant to the School’s operations.
- A collaborative and innovative approach to academic leadership and decision-making.
