Requirements
Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences or significant progress towards gaining a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
Record of demonstrable scholarly and professional achievement in Biomedical Sciences, particularly in Microbiology and Human Pathophysiology.
Experience in program design and curriculum development at a university level.
Demonstrated teaching in Microbiology and Human Pathophysiology.
Research expertise in a relevant discipline of Biomedical Sciences.
Evidence of research strategy and research leadership, with an emerging research track record, including high-quality publications and external funding.

Responsibilities
Provide culturally safe and trauma-informed case management for reported concerns related to unwanted behaviours (bullying, discrimination, harassment, assault, etc.), offering advice and support for incident management.
Offer information and support to prospective and current students, as well as University staff, regarding student’s rights and the University’s responsibilities in supporting diversity and inclusion.
Assess the impact of personal circumstances and identify eligibility for internal and external support services.
Contribute to the development of consistent incident assessment processes and intervention strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop training programs and resources aimed at building a safe and inclusive UniSQ community.
Contribute to the evaluation of outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the implementation of the Safer Communities Action Plan key activities.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and personal conduct, aligning with the University values.
Requirements
A degree qualification in social work, psychology, human services, law, or related fields.
Extensive experience and/or training relevant to key responsibilities of the role in the Position Description.
Knowledge of trauma-informed services and experience in referral procedures for issues related to sexual assault, bullying, discrimination, domestic violence, etc.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work productively, both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and confidentiality.
