Salary
  • Total remuneration $187,737 to $206,439 pa (includes salary of $158,628 to $174,431 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)

Responsibilities
  • Teach into undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Promote and grow the post-graduate suite of courses.
  • Produce high quality research and undertake consultancy relevant to nursing, health and the University’s strategic research plan.
  • Contribute to research innovation and leadership.
  • Supervise the program of study of postgraduate students engaged in course-work and major research projects.
  • Undertake engagement activities with communities and external partners.

Requirements
  • Doctoral Qualification in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse without condition with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Evidence of an outstanding contribution to teaching, research and the profession with a record of proven scholarly and professional achievement in Nursing.
  • Evidence of high-quality tertiary teaching experience, leadership and productivity, including course and program coordination.
  • Experience in leading and engaging in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract significant funding to support research, advances knowledge, and engages with and influences industry and government.
  • A distinguished research track record, including high-quality publications, external funding or other relevant applied research outcomes.
  • Outstanding and proven experience in leading, coaching and mentoring others, and developing effective work teams.
  • A capacity to lead community and professional development initiatives relevant to Nursing.
