Salary
  • Total remuneration range $128,506 to $151,889 pa (includes salary range of $108,581 to $128,339 pa based on full-time equivalent, employer superannuation contributions up to 17% of salary and annual leave loading)

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Computing and Information Technology team to develop, deliver and update a range of courses focusing on Games Development, Software Applications, Cloud Computing, Networking and Cyber Security.
  • Promote and market computing-related programs.
  • Undertake high quality Computational research particularly in Networking and Security, Software Applications and Cloud Development, and other priority research areas.
  • Supervise HDR and/or research project students and capstone projects.

Requirements
  • A Doctorate in Computing or an equivalent qualification in a closely related discipline, or a Master degree combined with significant senior experience in IT services delivery. Progression towards completion of a Doctoral qualification would be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, multi-mode teaching of computing courses in one or more of the following areas: Networking and Security, Software Applications and Cloud Computing.
  • Recent and high-quality research contributions in Computer Science and IT areas.
  • Ability to undertake quality research as evidenced by publication in high quality journals, competitive research grant funding and successful HDR supervision.
