Provide academic leadership to staff in the National School of Education, NSW.
Work collaboratively with the National Head of School to ensure overall coherence of state-based operations with the strategic priorities of the National School of Education and the university.
Oversee academic staff on ACU's Strathfield, Blacktown and North Sydney campuses.
Lead staff and build their capability in ways that enhance and deliver upon local and national priorities including high quality teaching, research, service, curriculum innovation, student experience, Professional Experience Placements and stakeholder partnerships.
Represent the National School within its local state through strategic partnerships and collaborations with other agencies, educational institutions, external communities and stakeholders.
Requirements
Demonstrated capacity of successful, dynamic leadership in an academic setting.
Experience in education, preferably in Early Childhood Education.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Strong understanding of strategic priorities in education.

Responsibilities
Ensure all operations are undertaken in an accurate and timely manner with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
Contribute significantly to the oversight, configuration maintenance and improvement of Degree Works by establishing and adhering to timelines and testing protocols developed in close liaison with faculties as the primary stakeholders.
Help in translating academic course rules into system syntax in order to achieve accurate monitoring of student adherence to course rules.
Provide advice on relevant legislation, policy and procedures.
Develop integrated business processes and resolve complex issues.
Develop mechanisms to collect and report on a range of data attributes.
Establish and maintain a communication and liaison framework for all stakeholders including students.
Requirements

Experience in technical, system configuration and business support.
