Responsibilities
- Foster excellence in teaching and research.

Requirements
- PhD qualification or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related areas.
- Established expertise in contemporary Information Technology research, particularly in AI/Cloud Computing/Cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience in research through publications in high-quality journals/conferences and in attracting research grants.
- Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate education and training in Information Technology, Computer Science and related disciplines.
- Success or capacity to attract competitive research funding.
- Ability to efficiently organize and conduct research projects and conduct collaborative, multi-disciplinary research within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively in teams and engaging with industry, community agencies, and professional bodies.
- Ability to contribute to outreach and marketing activities in support of a university, government department, research organization, or other institutions.
- Experience in the development, teaching, and coordination of programs with active, flipped classroom, blended learning settings (Desirable).
- A track record of engagement in innovation-driven opportunities in research and/or industry environments (Desirable).

- Payroll queries – addressing staff enquiries regarding payroll and superannuation matters with clarity and patience, providing our staff the information and knowledge they need to ensure compliance
- Customer service excellence – delivering supportive customer service and coaching to educate staff on complex systems, entitlements and processes, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered
- Team administrative tasks including reviewing payroll tools, guides and communications
