Salary
  • Academic Level C: $129,607 - $148,787 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver innovative teaching programs and research that support Indigenous communities.
  • Lead and design high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Engage in research training.
  • Supervise higher degree by research (HDR) students.
  • Contribute to major research projects.
  • Collaborate on securing competitive research grants across categories 1-4.

Requirements
  • Experience in contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching programs.
  • Passionate about delivering quality teaching programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Proven scholarly track record in Indigenous research, relative to opportunity and commensurate to level.
  • Expertise in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and relevant research methods.
  • Ability to independently coordinate subjects at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Experience supervising HDR students, with some experience in major research projects.
  • Current working with children Blue Card required.
