The Solution Consultant partners with the Business Technology Partner (BTP) in the provision of services provided by Strategy, Engagement and Innovation function.

Responsibilities
Manage large and complex Agreements in collaboration with Research & Industry Engagement Portfolio teams.
Provide accurate and consistent advice and reporting, as well as flexible and efficient client services.
Facilitate interactions between La Trobe University researchers and external partners, including funding bodies, industry, government, and regulatory authorities.
Support large Agreements and tenders, process improvement for the portfolio, and costing and pricing of projects.
Provide high level advice and oversight to establish and improve processes and support Agreement development for large or complex Agreements.
Requirements
An undergraduate degree, preferably Legal or in any area relevant to the position with at least 5 years relevant experience; or extensive relevant experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
Demonstrated extensive expertise in developing, reviewing, and negotiation of a broad range of research and consulting agreements.
Demonstrated experience developing responses to opportunities with national and international funding bodies and industry partners/clients including proposals and tenders including costing and pricing; and managing and developing related agreements.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and client management skills including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build professional relationships.

Responsibilities
Design and coordinate a university-wide review of existing learning and development offerings to identify key staff development needs.
Manage the development and implementation of the UQ Staff Learning and Development strategy, including the staff study program and other relevant initiatives.
Manage the implementation of relevant staff development programs, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and collaborating with HR Leadership and senior management.
Oversight of UQ’s learning management system (Workday) and associated governance processes and continuous user improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Proven expertise in leading, designing, and delivering organisation-wide learning and development programs via a contemporary learning management system in a large, diverse organisation.
Extensive understanding of contemporary curriculum and learning design for adult learners across online, hybrid and face-to-face formats.
Strong experience in managing multiple projects, including planning, resourcing, risk management, and evaluation of learning initiatives.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
