About the role:
Operating within the People & Culture Directorate, as the Risk and Compliance Consultant, you'll identify, address and reduce risk, ensuring that current and future legal and regulatory obligations under various licenses, certifications, registrations and regulations are fulfilled in a timely manner, by managing risk and compliance practices across the university. To facilitate this, you'll create operational risk registers to provide managers with easy access to information, update controls and manage potential impacts and opportunities, utilising best practices in risk management.
To be successful in this role, you'll possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in a People and Culture function; such as Work Health & Safety, Human Resources or Learning & Development, within a "high risk" workplace environment.
