Responsibilities
- Provide individual supervision for Clinical Psychology students on placement in the RMIT Psychology Clinic.
- Support students to achieve their competencies on placement and develop their clinical skills.
- Maintain high quality client services.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues at the RMIT Health Clinics, as well as at the Faculty and University levels.
Requirements
- Accredited Masters, or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Current registration and endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Current endorsement as a PsyBA Board Approved supervisor in the field of Clinical Psychology.
- High level of proficiency in clinical psychology assessment and interventions with complex mental health/psychological disorders.
- High level of knowledge of psychological theories, models and evidence-based clinical interventions.
- High level of competence in the clinical supervision of clinical psychology students.
- Demonstrable training and significant experience delivering cognitive behavioural and CBT related interventions.
- High level of knowledge of laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
