Responsibilities
Actively monitoring and maintaining our Windows and related environments
Diagnosing and resolving cybersecurity related issues or implementing recommendations of the ANU Information Security Office
Supporting the design and implementation, innovation and hardware/software maintenance and upgrades
Working across teams to build holistic end-to-end solutions to reduce cybersecurity risks and reduce the University’s attack surface driving continuous improvement of our processes and client service
Requirements
Strong technical skills in the support of Windows Server Systems
Extensive knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
Strong PowerShell skills
A deep knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager and VMware ESXi
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
Experience with Azure cloud
Understanding or experience with Essential 8 Cybersecurity model
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including managers, technical and non-technical staff, academics, and research teams
An interest in working in a changing and developing environment
