Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement projects across people, processes, systems, and performance within Research Finance.
- Develop and maintain data-driven reports, dashboards, and systems to enhance operational activities.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for further improvement.
- Create and deliver training materials on data and systems usage, contributing to the continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
- Some experience in a data-related role or a strong desire to develop expertise in this area.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Familiarity with data structures, governance frameworks, financial processes, and policies, or a capacity to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- An understanding of research, finance, and accounting concepts, as well as higher education or R&D sectors, or the ability to quickly develop this understanding.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
