Designing and implementing a distinctive, world class learning experience across all areas of lifelong learning, including award programs for working professionals, programs for organisations, and short courses and micro-credentials.
Working alongside the Dean of LLL and the leadership team to refine and implement UNSW’s LLL strategy.
Creating an efficient and high quality process for the design, development, and maintenance of courses delivered through LLL.
Managing the development, delivery, and maintenance of high quality courses across the portfolio of specialist masters programs in collaboration with the Senior Manager, UNSW Online.
Supporting the expansion of award programs delivered through UNSW Online.
Developing a model of learning experience for short course offerings that meets learner needs and collaborating with third party providers to implement this model.
Engaging across Faculties and Divisions at UNSW to build understanding of the learning experience required for lifelong learners.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
Outstanding track record of success in delivering high quality learning outcomes to adult learners and private or public sector organisations.
Good understanding of the higher education context and a strong track record of achieving results in a complex, multistakeholder environment.
Experience leading the development and implementation of major strategic initiatives relevant to lifelong learning.
Expertise in learning design and curriculum development, including establishing and operating educational development capabilities aligned to lifelong learner needs.
Experience in establishing and implementing high quality support for individual learners and those who are members of organisations.
Appreciation of different learning modes and effective use of educational technology to support high quality learning in a lifelong learning context.
Experience in establishing relationships with third party suppliers and managing these relationships to produce quality outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work across organisational boundaries in a complex setting to develop and deliver high quality outcomes.

Completion of or progress towards a Doctoral or Master’s qualification in the relevant discipline or equivalent relevant academic or professional or practice-based experience and expertise.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.
