• Develop the Faculty’s Student Experience plan aligned to the University and Faculty strategic plans and to Program curriculum, in consultation with Faculty leadership.
• Oversee the operational coordination of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) within the Faculty consultation with key stakeholders across the Faculty and University.
• Create, implement, and review school and faculty activities to enhance Student Experience, including industry and employer engagement opportunities.
• Undertake metrics, feedback and review processes related to student experience and WIL and provide regular reports, proposals, and recommendations to key stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development of University policy, procedure, and guidelines, and to organisational reporting relating to student experience.
• Manage and work collaboratively with staff involved in WIL, overseas immersions, and student events and oversee budget for Faculty events.
• Initiate, foster and grow professional relationships and networks within the University community and with national and international stakeholders, professional and community organisations and clients.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic and proactive partnerships with academics and higher degree students to deliver library support for the University’s research, teaching and learning activities.
• Lead outreach and engagement activities within their allocated faculty or school and proactively build collaborative relationships across the University.
• Promote priority services and deliver against the Library’s Research Support Framework and Learning and Teaching Principles.
• Lead liaison services to designated Faculties and/or Schools to enhance scholarly and research productivity.
• Support teaching staff to deliver excellent learning outcomes for students at all levels.
• Strategically participate in learning, teaching and research activities.
• Proactively engage with designated faculty and/or school staff, students and researchers to identify opportunities which support their research, learning and teaching needs.
• Provide specialist advice that contributes to the advancement of the Library’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and market information services in a higher education environment.
• An understanding of contemporary and emerging pedagogical practice, digital capabilities and graduate attributes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of emerging trends in open access publishing and scholarly communication, impact measurements and research data management.
• Experience in designing, leading and evaluating engaging information and research skills programs.
