Responsibilities
Provide customer service and transactional support to international and domestic students, referring or escalating as appropriate.
Maintain and apply knowledge of policies and procedures relating to international and domestic students at the University.
Undertake student administration transactional processing using a range of student administration systems ensuring timely, accurate and quality assured data processing, and undertaking a range of associated administrative and/or customer service-related tasks.
Process written, email, phone or in-person enquiries in a timely manner.
Provide feedback to support student services, process and systems improvement.
Prioritise time and tasks to meet targets and timelines.
Provide information and data as requested.

Support HDR student mobility and internships by handling related administrative tasks and associated scholarships.
Track partnership activities and deadlines by maintaining and updating the team’s planning calendar.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries from HDR candidates, researchers and other stakeholders across the UQ community, providing accurate information and follow-up as needed.
Requirements
Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Knowledge of University student and academic administration policies, procedures and processes, particularly related to HDR programs, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
Experience in preparing and supporting events, information sessions, and presentations, including proficiency with platforms like Zoom.
Ability to use sound judgement and initiative in non-routine situations, with a demonstrated capacity to adapt to change.
High level written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong organisational abilities to liaise effectively with people at all levels, set priorities, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy and attention to detail in your work.

Responsibilities
Manage the research project including preparing a project plan which identifies roles and responsibilities, timeline, and engagement approach.
Schedule project meetings and liaise with UTAS finance to arrange subcontracting of external case study partners.
Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement with selected external case study partners, including confirming engagement activities and facilitating workshops.
Liaise with climate scientists to deliver curated climate information via factsheets, reports, and in-person presentations.
