Responsibilities
The Partnerships Manager (PM) will identify, develop and manage strategic partnership initiatives with external organisations - including Macquarie Innovation Park District (MPID) and beyond.
The PM will work closely with assigned Macquarie faculties (across the four Macquarie academic faculties), and centrally resourced professional services teams, to provide strategic support for engagement and partnership opportunities with external organisations and government agencies.
Requirements
Degree and/or relevant experience in business development, partnership management, consulting, or related discipline/s.
Practical experience in client and customer relationship management – including outstanding customer service and key account management.
A proactive approach to business development and building new relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels (including up to executive level).
Demonstrated experience in project management – including overseeing and managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering on objectives and within timeframes.
Experience in fostering complex and multi-dimensional partnerships that bring together expertise and offerings across different disciplines and functions (this role will bring together academic, research and corporate partnership opportunities).
