Base salary will be in the range $111,154 - $124,619 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)
Responsibilities
Project manage M&C’s response to major projects and strategic initiatives (excluding major domestic advertising recruitment campaigns) from taking the client brief, assembling teams, delivering the integrated response and managing client feedback and approvals.
Support the Senior Manager, Planning and Performance in management and alignment of M&C quarterly planning and reporting to clients.
Project manage key University publications as well as UQ’s suite of domestic guides.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries and M&C requests for support from stakeholders, including Future Students, faculties, institutes and other organisational units.
Ensure plans are implemented to deadlines and budgets are met.
Coordinate and manage solutions for clients and internal teams while fostering knowledge-sharing across all stakeholders to ensure collaborative and informed work.
Implement effective processes and information flow between M&C and clients.
Coordinate multiple projects at once and ensure strong integration across M&C and the university.
Manage the Client Services team to build a culture of communication, responsiveness and client support, while embedding ways of working through M&C’s planning and collaboration tool.
Requirements
A degree in marketing, communication, or a related discipline and extensive experience in marketing within a complex service organisation or an equivalent combination of education/training and/or experience.
Extensive expertise in project management, publication management and developing, implementing and evaluating large-scale projects.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across formal structural boundaries.
High level supervisory skills and experience, as well as organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
Knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector and/or experience working in complex organisations or agencies is desirable, but not essential.
