Salary
HEWL 4: $68,694 - $72,973 + 17% superannuation, with a 3% pay increase from July 2025.
Responsibilities
Payroll data entry – timesheets, leave, separation certificates, employment verifications, work arrangements and case driven data entry using strong attention to detail
Superannuation reporting, reconciliations, payment processing along with superannuation administration
Payroll queries – addressing staff enquiries regarding payroll and superannuation matters with clarity and patience, providing our staff the information and knowledge they need to ensure compliance
Customer service excellence – delivering supportive customer service and coaching to educate staff on complex systems, entitlements and processes, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered
Team administrative tasks including reviewing payroll tools, guides and communications
Requirements
Enthusiasm, commitment and experience coupled with a desire to learn JCU processes and systems, specifically superannuation administration and payroll processing
Experience working in large and/or complex organisations is beneficial or a strong desire to learn and work in a complex, task-orientated payroll team working to meet defined timeframes and deadlines
A passion for payroll is essential to ensure success in this role
