Responsibilities
- Administration and maintenance of Swinburne’s Managed Operating Environments across endpoints and virtual environments.
- Lead process improvements and provide high level of service to customers of Swinburne IT.
- Liaise with senior staff and key stakeholders to ensure effective resolution of service issues.
- Provide third level technical support and guidance to team members by taking on escalated tickets.
- Swiftly diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Experience in configuring, administering, and supporting IT infrastructure services including on-prem, cloud services and virtualization.
- Experience with endpoint operating systems and related services; experience with Microsoft Azure & O365, Virtual Desktop technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and manage expectations.
- Understanding of Endpoint Security, ACSC essential 8 maturity model and experience with security tools.
- Experience with automation technologies and PowerShell scripts.
- Postgraduate level qualifications (or progress towards) in information technology, information systems, or equivalent combination of experience/education/training.
