Serve as the principal advisor to the Head of School and the wider School community on all matters related to University, Faculty, and School policies, operations, legislative requirements, budget management, and core business processes.
Contribute to both strategic and operational management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching, research, and operational goals through collaboration with various organisational stakeholders.
Assist the HoS and the School Executive in developing strategies, setting priorities, and establishing measures of success.
Coordinate review processes, advise on organisational structures, facilitate the efficient operation of research and commercial projects, and ensure a seamless experience for staff, students, and external stakeholders.
Provide assurance that risks are effectively managed through strong management controls, ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and standards.
Support the HoS in navigating major policy changes.
Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree.
Possess substantial experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a higher education context.
Demonstrate strong financial acumen and an ability to work independently, paying close attention to detail while taking initiative within established policies.
Experience in financial and budget planning, human resource management, and student and academic administration.
Experience in developing administrative strategies and policies, leading multi-site teams, and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Understanding of the unique culture and challenges of a global university aiming for a top 50 ranking.
