Responsibilities
- Manage the identification, development and delivery of opportunities for RMIT researchers to partner with end users (commercial and not for profit organisations).
- Identify and match excellence in RMIT with the research needs of commercial and not for profit organisations.
- Link RMIT researchers with researchers in other institutions to ensure delivery of the best research solution for end users.

Requirements
- Extensive experience in project managing the development of complex, competitive, large-scale, multi-institutional project bids.
- Ability to manage and develop sustainable, strategic and complex partnerships with university, industry and not-for-profit sectors.
- Highly developed organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business writing skills and demonstrated experience facilitating comprehensive recommendations, project and implementation plans, briefing papers and reports.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships and effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives in response to external issues.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, high demand role, requiring strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination, development, conduct and reporting of research
- Conduct literature searches and reviews in support of the Initiative’s projects
- Work with the project team and non-academic partners to develop the Initiative’s research projects

Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to develop good relationships and work effectively with partners, organisations, industry and/or professional associations
- Capacity for multidisciplinary research and/or the willingness to engage in cross-disciplinary environments
- Demonstrated ability to conduct fieldwork and qualitative research (e.g. interviews, case studies)
- A track record in research, writing and publications in the appropriate area and the potential to develop further research expertise
- Ability to present research findings to a wide range of audiences (e.g. academic and industry conferences)
