This includes identifying and matching excellence in RMIT with the research needs of commercial and not for profit organisations. Such partnerships also involve linking RMIT researchers with researchers in other institutions to ensure delivery of the best research solution for end users.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- Extensive experience in project managing the development of complex, competitive, large-scale, multi-institutional project bids involving industry, government, and universities.
- Ability to manage and develop sustainable, strategic and complex partnerships with university, industry and not-for-profit sectors, with a focus on nurturing and growing the relationship.
- Highly developed organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills with evidence of managing complex issues.
- Strong business writing skills and demonstrated experience facilitating comprehensive recommendations, project and implementation plans, briefing papers and reports.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships and effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives in response to external issues while operating within the broad policy requirements of a university or similar organisation.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, high demand role, requiring strong problem solving and analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to monitor and progress multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated history of behaviour aligned to RMIT’s values, leadership capabilities and professional capability framework.
