Responsibilities
Responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of Disability Support.
Operational management of Disability Advisors and Senior Disability and Disability Support Officer staff.
Ensure the provision of comprehensive, responsive, and effective Disability Support service to all enrolled students.
Oversee services for students at risk of discrimination.
Ensure the University meets its commitments under the Disability Standards for Education Act 2005 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
Drive the strategic development and execution of the University’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in providing successful operational management in a Human Services setting, in the areas of access, inclusion and wellbeing.
A sound knowledge of disability legislation including its specific relevance to education providers.
Demonstrated experience in service coordination and leading a team.
Demonstrated experience in successfully building teams with a positive future focused culture, driven by outstanding service outcomes through service innovation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the wide range and complex needs of students with disabilities within a tertiary education setting.
Knowledge and understanding of professional practice expectations related to record keeping and confidentiality.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal and administrative skills and capacity to meet competing and demanding deadlines.
Knowledge of disability-based community services and resources.
This position requires a valid Working with Children Check.

This position leads a team of staff and student aids and manages the Equitable Learning and Accessibility (ELA) service for RMIT Vietnam.
The Manager supervises complex case management for registered students and has accountability for budget, reporting, and operations of the ELA service.
The Manager is a discipline leader and effects organizational change through the University’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Framework (IDEA) with a focus on students with diverse conditions/disability.
Requirements
Master's or PhD in social work, education, psychology or disability-related field preferred.
Five years of experience in a related role required.
High-level conceptualisation and planning skills with a proven ability to identify current and emerging issues affecting students with disability.

Responsibilities
Collaborate and provide high-level research administration support to the Chief Investigator/Research Team
Support collection and analysis of data, interviewing, transcription, literature review and facilitating related activities
Work with research academic staff in the delivery of the research project, including the implementation of research quality control systems and procedures
Support researchers by assisting in the preparation of applications, Budgeting tasks and reporting and in the preparation of internal and external reports associated with the project
Utilise the research specific IT systems and applications to assist with research and analysis, including NVivo and EndNote
Source and analyse data and provide findings in assisting the achievement of research project outcome.
Requirements
A degree in a relevant area, from a recognised university with experience as a research administrator OR an appropriate combination of experience and training
Demonstrated experience conducting research tasks - editing, literature reviews, preparing research reports within a university or tertiary environment
Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills with proven ability to effectively analyse information and produce clear, succinct reports and documents
Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret legislative and University policies and procedures, investigate research opportunities and decipher funding requirements.
Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of dealing with research related activities, in particular research with people with disability and/or in co-design. (Desirable)
