Responsibilities
Developing dynamic, engaging, and relevant content for University digital platforms, including Viva Engage, Staff Hub, and the University website.
Planning and executing engagement events to enhance cybersecurity awareness among staff and students.
Leading the planning and implementation of the Cybersecurity Champions Network in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Supporting the Engagement Manager in creating and delivering cybersecurity training and educational initiatives.
Requirements
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Events, Marketing or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Proven experience in effectively implementing communication and engagement processes within large or complex environments.
Strong written communication skills with a proven track record in translating complex, technical jargon into easy-to-understand material.
Strong proficiency in standard software applications, including the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in web administration, graphic design, or video production/editing is desirable.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDR) role is to be employed as part of the newly awarded ARC Discovery grant (that is titled “Preventing Exfiltration of Sensitive Data by Malicious Insiders or Malwares”). The Postdoctoral Research Fellow takes the major responsibility to design, implement, and test the new methods for data exfiltration, and mentoring higher degree research candidates.
Requirements
Extensive research and/or industry experience in cybersecurity, preferably around malware detection.
Extensive experience in large-scale systems design, implementation, and testing.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs in the areas of cybersecurity, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
A strong work ethic, and the ability to work well independently, and as a member of a broader team, including with industrial partners.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and/or supervise higher-degree research candidates.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements
