Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver tutorials for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Mark assessment items and conduct student consultations.
Foster a positive learning environment.
Assist in activity-based seminars, tutorials, and workshops.
Requirements
Minimum of an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 5.0.
Enrolment in a relevant postgraduate program (coursework or HDR) or relevant industry experience.
Demonstrable and effective teaching skills with supporting evaluations.
Proficiency in using eLearning systems, such as Blackboard, or ability to learn new software quickly.
Experience in public speaking and leading small groups is highly regarded.
Proven ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Ongoing unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities
Provide specialised academic advice to students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at the Regional Clinical Unit (RCU).
Provide high quality academic leadership support and enhance the progression of students through each of the four years of the MD program, including academic guidance, remediation, pastoral care, career guidance and extension activities for students.
Maintain personal academic standing including the pursuit of research and scholarship.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in teaching and knowledge of medical education.

A PhD or substantial industry experience (with a post graduate degree in relevant area). Experience in teaching or conducting research in BIM related area (Desirable).
