Base salary will be in the range $89,861 - $96,402 + 17% Superannuation
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of a teaching and learning project to create a digital repository of strengths-based images and case studies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learning in health contexts.
Coordinate and support a wide range of tasks to achieve project outcomes, including organizing resource-creation and stakeholder engagement activities, and the development of documents and resources.
Requirements
Must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander as a genuine occupational requirement under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage projects and interact with Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders in a culturally safe and competent manner.

Lead and supervise a team of academic staff in the delivery of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies major within the Bachelor of Arts.
Provide leadership in incorporating Indigenous perspectives into teaching and learning across the University.
Maintain a record of successful applications for internal and external research funding and mentor junior academics and researchers.
Foster relations with industry, government departments, professional bodies, and the wider community especially within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
Requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Studies as an academic discipline.
Knowledge of cultural competency and its application in a tertiary teaching and learning environment.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage academic teams, preferably within a tertiary setting.
