Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa
Teach and conduct classes in disciplines relevant to their field of expertise.
Assist in academic and administrative tasks involved with courses.
Present lectures and tutorials, assess students, and manage course administration in line with quality assurance requirements.

Requirements
PhD or equivalent relevant Doctoral qualification from a recognised institution.
For Associate Lecturer: A Master degree in the relevant discipline; have commenced or enrolled to commence in Doctoral course is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at the undergraduate level, including online delivery, and produce high-quality curriculum or program materials.
Proven expertise in Digital 3D Video and two or more of the following: Digital 3D animation, VFX, Compositing, Generative Graphics.
Proven experience in digital video, specifically in two or more of the following: Editing and Postproduction, Camera Operation, Time-based Narratives, Audio Production and Postproduction.
Ability to undertake course coordination role.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students.

Responsibilities
Assist in producing high-quality videos, animations, and graphics to support the promotion of Deakin's research groups and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with Deakin’s strategic research objectives.
Manage smaller-scale content production projects, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their content needs and provide timely responses to feedback.
Implement creative and inclusive content solutions that meet university standards.
Requirements
A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (in areas including marketing, design, writing, social media or communications)
Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality digital content across video, animation, and graphic design, with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
Proven ability to manage the production of videos from beginning to end i.e., from planning, to filming, to editing and distribution.
Proven ability to create engaging digital assets for various platforms, including social media, and web, tailored to different audiences and purposes.
