Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise for the School’s teaching programs.
Complete set up and pack down of practical classes and examinations, including preparation and maintenance of human and animal specimens, simulation mannequins and models, clinical equipment, molecular biology materials.
Coordinate on a day-to-day basis, materials and equipment requirements of staff and students for the running of practical classes within disciplines of expertise clarifying expectations and responding promptly to resolve technical problems, issues, and requirements to ensure client needs met to agreed standards and timelines.
Understand local processes, prepare standard documents, manage records, regularly track progress of work tasks, and identify key issues.
Recognise the importance of teamwork and of effective communication amongst team members and build rapport within immediate team and diverse range of stakeholders in ways that are respectful and inclusive of others.
Provide operational support for academic staff at the teaching sites in support of the MD teaching and running of the site at Ararat.
Support operations on site during assessment periods and other critical activities related to the teaching of the MD program.
Requirements
Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or
An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experience working in a laboratory setting, ideally within a tertiary education environment.
Good knowledge of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) principles and an understanding of the requirements for safety when working with biological and chemical hazards.

Responsibilities
Provide high level senior expertise in developing and supporting ACU's Sitecore Platform.
Analyse, document, and develop the technical aspects of ACU's Marketing and External Relations (MERs) customer business and data requirements.
Work with stakeholders, end users, project team members and suppliers to develop or recommend software solutions appropriate to their needs.
Advise and consult with business system owners and the broader IT Directorate to ensure the products and enhancements meet maximum benefits and returns in accordance with established University standards and industry best practices.
Provide broad oversight and technical capability spanning across the core Sitecore platform for ACU.
Work directly with other members of the Application and Integration Services team and various IT and business stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
Identify potential opportunities for performance, security and overall optimisation improvement (including deployment and maintenance automation).
Assist in incident, problem, configuration, change management and serve as an escalation point in support.
Requirements
6+ years experience developing applications on the Sitecore Platform (10 and above preferred).
Proven experience with current web and development related technologies, frameworks and methodologies (e.g. MVC technology, SSL, .NET, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (and other frameworks React, Angular)).
Experience in end-to-end solution delivery from requirements discovery, through to support hand-over.
Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft .Net technology, particularly C# and ASP.Net with MS SQL Database Server, MS Microsoft Reporting, Integration Services and interoperable RESTful APIs.
