Responsibilities
Play a key role in curriculum design and development by identifying and selecting of appropriate information sources and readings that effectively support unit and course objectives.
Building and sustaining professional relationships and networks across the University to support collaborative initiatives and ensure library services are effectively integrated into the broader academic community.
Lead the creation and delivery of targeted training programs and modules to enhance student scholarly literacy, ensuring they are strategically aligned with curriculum and academic goals.
Provide expert advice, training and support to researchers on effective scholarly communication and strategies for optimising research outputs to enhance their impact and visibility.
Requirements
Embody Victoria University’s values and have in-depth understanding of the University’s teaching, learning, and research strategy, including the Block Model and its application to units and courses.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of the academic library sector, focusing on scholarly literacy, information management, and collection development.

Salary
Total remuneration valued to $95,827 - $103,735 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $80,975 - $87,658 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
Responsibilities
Provide quality customer service support to current and prospective students and staff on a range of topics.
Respond to enquiries by face-to-face, email, phone, live chat, SMS and other enquiry-types as appropriate.
Case-management of enquiries.
Ensure students and staff receive a positive customer service experience on campus by resolving issues, providing relevant services and supporting high level enquiry management.
