Salary
$111,031 - $131,335 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a dynamic research program in botany.
Contribute to interdisciplinary research within the School and wider academic community.
Deliver botanical teaching in the School.
Requirements
A PhD in botany/plant biology, or related field with a focus on native flora and/or invasive plant species and their impact on native ecosystems.
A demonstrated track record of research excellence in plant biology as evidenced by publications in highly regarded peer-reviewed scientific journals.
A demonstrated track record in securing research grant funding.
A demonstrated track record of teaching excellence in plant biology in a variety of face-to-face and/or hybrid and online modes to actively engage and educate undergraduate students to ensure student success.
Experience in research supervision including Honours and Higher Degree by Research Students.
