Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the University’s Gender-based Violence Prevention framework.
- Support key gender equity related strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust culture of respect as part of primary prevention.
- Implement targeted interventions for secondary prevention.
- Ensure institutional responses to gender-based violence for tertiary prevention.
- Design and coordinate a whole organisation culture change program.
- Manage budgets from multiple sources including government funding and grants.
- Develop proposals or business cases for specific projects to attract additional funding.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of specialists.
Requirements
- Proven track record in leadership and management within complex organisations.
- Ability to drive strategic project management initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting materials.
- Excellent relationship building, management, and influencing skills.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in gender-based violence or related fields.
