Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the University’s Gender-based Violence Prevention framework.
Support key gender equity related strategies.
Develop and maintain a robust culture of respect as part of primary prevention.
Implement targeted interventions for secondary prevention.
Ensure institutional responses to gender-based violence for tertiary prevention.
Design and coordinate a whole organisation culture change program.
Manage budgets from multiple sources including government funding and grants.
Develop proposals or business cases for specific projects to attract additional funding.
Lead a multi-disciplinary team of specialists.
Requirements
Proven track record in leadership and management within complex organisations.
Ability to drive strategic project management initiatives.
Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting materials.
Excellent relationship building, management, and influencing skills.
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated experience in gender-based violence or related fields.
