The Associate Lecturer/Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School in disciplines relevant to print, and related contemporary art interdisciplinary fields, including digital and other reprographic technologies.
An Associate Lecturer will use their expertise and assist in the academic and administrative, consultative and coordination tasks involved with these courses.
A Lecturer is responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, Honours and Masters programs and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to prepare and teach programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials in print, and related contemporary art interdisciplinary fields, including digital and other reprographic technologies.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning and communicating about diverse lived experiences.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Art Discipline and School of Art research areas evidenced by publications, commissions, exhibition history, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
