- Level D – $175,858 - $193,740 p.a. plus 17% super (Additional clinical loading of $13,494 p.a. with dental qualification)
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality, benchmarked teaching with contemporary pedagogical insights to ensure high satisfaction in degree programs and CPD courses.
- Undertaking clinical teaching supervising treatment of student periodontic cases to completion of care.
- Demonstrate a proactive reflective teaching practice through seeking guidance from senior teaching staff and student feedback.
Requirements
- A completed PhD in a relevant field such as Periodontics or a related discipline and a completed specialist dental qualification in Periodontics or Periodontology.
- Extensive clinical experience in Periodontics.
- A strong track record in research with an established publication profile.
- Ability to supervise research higher degree students, graduate and postgraduate research students through to thesis completion.

Requirements
- Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE.
- By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Periodontics; must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology; and must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
