Responsibilities
Lead, support and drive translational business engagement opportunities including the development of partnership strategies, commercial models and terms, proposal scoping and development and negotiation and execution of translational research contracts.
Using commercial skills and sector knowledge, work collaboratively with academics to identify, scope and drive appropriate commercial engagement opportunities with new and existing customers including the development of large, complex Faculty and University wide sector opportunities.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant science discipline coupled with substantial commercial experience in a business development or commercial role
A strong track record of generating new business and negotiating and closing commercial opportunities
Proficiency in scoping, planning, negotiating and managing complex arrangements with commercial partners through to contract execution.
Excellent relationship management skills as evidenced by a well-established professional network.
