- Base salary will be in the range $73,072 - $77,476 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 4)
Responsibilities
- Receiving, unpacking, storing, manual handling, and disposal of a variety of consumables, equipment, and chemicals in line with statutory guidelines.
- Log maintenance jobs, follow up on outstanding work, and assist with school-wide maintenance and auditing activities.
- Perform ad hoc test tagging of electrical equipment and other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, work in an autonomous manner and exercise initiative.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise competing work demands and work in an efficient and well-organised manner under pressure.
- A strong orientation to the provision of a high level of client service with sound communication skills, and the ability to positively engage with and relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Desirable: Experience in working within a research environment with knowledge of policies and procedures relating to Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- The successful candidate is required to hold a valid and current driver’s licence and may be required to complete pre-employment checks, including the right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities
- Processing, preparation and dispatch of store orders as well as internal and external deliveries.
- Responsible for the movement and transportation of library materials, goods, and furniture between all UQ locations.
- Responsible for warehouse operations, including inventory, data, and customer service.
- Ensure efficient product and equipment handling to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining high standards of operation.
Requirements
- Must possess a Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence.
- Proven expertise in warehousing, couriering and logistics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Highly adaptable team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with Office and android logistical based software such as Excel and Orca scan.
- Sound knowledge of University of Queensland Campuses would be advantageous.
- The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including; right to work in Australia, criminal check, etc.
