Salary
Base salary will be in the range $73,072 - $77,476 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 4)
Responsibilities
Receiving, unpacking, storing, manual handling, and disposal of a variety of consumables, equipment, and chemicals in line with statutory guidelines.
Log maintenance jobs, follow up on outstanding work, and assist with school-wide maintenance and auditing activities.
Perform ad hoc test tagging of electrical equipment and other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
Relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, work in an autonomous manner and exercise initiative.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise competing work demands and work in an efficient and well-organised manner under pressure.
A strong orientation to the provision of a high level of client service with sound communication skills, and the ability to positively engage with and relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
Desirable: Experience in working within a research environment with knowledge of policies and procedures relating to Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
The successful candidate is required to hold a valid and current driver’s licence and may be required to complete pre-employment checks, including the right to work in Australia.
