Responsibilities
Contribute both independently and as a team member in collaborative Arch_Manu research with a focus to enhance the quality of the Centre’s research outcomes.
Conduct research (as per the norms of the discipline) and/or provide research support to Arch_Manu research teams to create scholarly output that is recognised by peers.
Conduct research while embedded within industry partner offices for defined periods of time.
Prepare Human Research Ethics applications.
Undertake discipline-appropriate research activities, e.g. surveys, literature reviews, data gathering and/or recording of results using appropriate research methods.
Support the dissemination of Arch_Manu research outcomes through appropriate channels and outlets, such as Q1 journals and the development of reports, white papers and training content for industry.
Requirements
A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline (business, architecture, design, engineering, computer science), with a preference for candidates knowledgeable of business and/or management research and relevant work experience.
Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with disciplinary knowledge and industry developments.
Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research in collaboration with industry partners, with limited supervision.
Demonstrated experience in data collection methods, analysis, and report writing skills.
Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
Evidence of high-level interpersonal skills, including excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
