$123K - $172K base (+ 17% Superannuation and leave loading)
Responsibilities
Apply new and emerging techniques in pharmacology to address significant health issues.
Conduct research in areas including molecular pharmacology, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal & urogenital pharmacology, neuropharmacology, and ageing.
Engage in cancer systems biology/pharmacology, enhancing fertility, physiological culture methods, and patient-derived organoid models.
Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) in drug design and discovery, pharmacogenomics, or personalized medicines.
Requirements
A PhD in a related discipline (e.g. pharmacology) and/or relevant work experience.
Demonstrated track record in high-quality research with evidence of research leadership.
High level communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
Significant involvement with the profession and/or knowledge of industry.
Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
