Actively manage a dynamic portfolio of 150 prospects by developing and implementing strategies to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward them.
Strive for at least 100 substantial connections with donors in portfolio annually.
Solicit donors in portfolio who have the capacity to make a major ($25,000 and above) gift to the University.
Partner with colleagues in advancement services on portfolio management.
Collaborate with colleagues in donor relations to demonstrate to all qualified donors in portfolio the impact of their philanthropy.
Build strong relationships with University faculty and professional staff to gain a strong understanding of the University structure and functions.
Leverage University events and activities to enhance prospect engagement and stewardship by attending the equivalent of at least one per month.
Document donor and prospect moves in database in a timely manner.
Travel to visit with donors as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Demonstrated success in major gift fundraising, portfolio management, and developing and implementing fundraising strategies and plans.
Outstanding track record of building and developing donor or customer relationships
Understanding of development and philanthropy.
Proficiency in using fundraising databases, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT.
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, but also must be a results-oriented self-starter.
Willingness to travel frequently for donor meetings and events, with flexibility to attend evening and weekend functions as needed.

Joining our growing Design, Delivery and Development function, this role heads the delivery of major capital development projects across residential, education, health & wellbeing, research, retail spaces that will allow UNSW to continue in its mission to deliver world class education, research and innovation.
Confident in leading mixed-use major development projects, you’ll provide high-quality and effective project governance for large-scale complex new builds, overseeing their development management and implementing delivery strategies.
This role provides leadership and direction to the project teams throughout all phases of the development life cycle and reports to the Director, Design, Delivery & Development in successfully delivering major projects.
Requirements
You’ll hold significant experience in leading the planning and delivery of major projects and development teams in complex, diverse operational environments.
Demonstrated success in the delivery mix use major projects.
Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout all phases of multiple projects with a wide variety of stakeholders, including authorities at the local, state and federal level.
Proven experience with financial management/budgeting/forecasting of major projects. Managing significant development budgets in excess of $200M.
Highly skilled leadership and management skills with the ability to create effective high-performance teams, including engagement and motivation of partners, consultants, and contractors.
Demonstrated high level negotiation and problem-solving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility and to be proactive in respect of project risk and team management issues.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.

This role is based within Estate Management (EM) who provide a range of services and advice to all Faculties and across UNSW’s sites. Direct the administration of the gift entry and receipting process including entering daily gifts, pledges, and faculty-staff payroll deductions, generating tribute acknowledgment letters, and producing gift reports for Advancement and the Business Office as appropriate while adhering to University policies and procedures, CASE standards, and IRS regulations.
Oversee the pledge reminder process ensuring all pledges are properly recorded, tracked, updated, and reviewed.
Oversee the matching gift process ensuring all matching gift records are properly recorded, tracked, and monitored.
Direct and oversee updates, additions, and formatting of constituent records within the Advancement CRM.
At the direction of the Senior Associate Director of Advancement Data and Analytics, and the Senior Director of Advancement Services, provide internal and external data reporting and list generation including support of annual fund solicitation and alumni/stakeholder relations initiatives.
Manage process for recording deceased members of the UNE Community, including collecting and recording death notices of alumni, donors and friends.
Proactively and at the direction of the Senior Associate Director of Advancement Data and Analytics and Senior Director of Advancement Services, perform routine data hygiene and audit projects ensuring the accuracy of constituent data.
Maintain electronic and paper constituent files.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, plus 1-3 years of relevant administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired.
Previous experience with a CRM software desirable, specifically Raiser’s Edge 7 or Raiser’s Edge NXT, Anthology’s Encompass, and Ellucian’s Banner.
Familiarity with CASE Standards and IRS regulations desirable.
