Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum for Linguistics courses.
- Teach Linguistics as part of the Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics and in the Linguistics major within the BA.
- Engage in scholarship of learning and teaching related to pedagogy in Linguistics.
- Supervise or co-supervise honours and postgraduate students.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Linguistics or a cognate field.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development.
- Sound analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- High level oral and written communication skills.
- High level organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Evidence of innovative initiatives that have improved the student experience.
- Ability to engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
