Responsibilities
Develop curriculum for Linguistics courses.
Teach Linguistics as part of the Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics and in the Linguistics major within the BA.
Engage in scholarship of learning and teaching related to pedagogy in Linguistics.
Supervise or co-supervise honours and postgraduate students.
Requirements
PhD degree in Linguistics or a cognate field.
Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development.
Sound analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
High level oral and written communication skills.
High level organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Evidence of innovative initiatives that have improved the student experience.
Ability to engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
