Intentionally seek out collaborative and interdisciplinary opportunities with other university departments.
Utilize email, social networking sites and other new media opportunities to promote student life and activities to the campus/University. Maintain social media accounts for the unit.
Assist in the development and maintenance of unit website/webpage content and the creation, content and visual design of electronic newsletters and other electronic methods information delivery to students as well as the development of departmental publications.
Monitor event budgets and ensure compliance with University fiscal policies and procedures.
Request and negotiate contracts with vendors/students to plan events and services; manage process in line with institutional protocols
Assist in the development of strategic goals and objectives in accordance with department, University and division strategic priorities.
Serve as a student advisor or committee member on conduct related matters.
